It's near the four face Buddha where people go there to pray for romance

 

 

Midnight Macs bcos we skipped dinner due to a late lunch & excessive shopping

FATTENING!

 

 

 

First meal/ Thai dinner we had at Bangkok!

Most expensive meal of the trip which is about 1300+ baht only for four

and we get to eat such great variety!

Really had good meals everyday there while it's cheaper!

Tried coconut ice cream for the first time at Chatuchak weekend market!

Tho I have been to BKK four times alr~

It was really refreshing and delicious,

was sweating like mad when I just reached chatuchak 5 mins only

Weather super hot there seriously

with cute little heart shaped watermelon ;*)

They also have honeydew and many other choices of food

Oh the creamy pasta above is so good I had 2 servings heehee

 

 

And of course, we had to try Crepes in the shopping mall!

Ate it the last time I went there too & was craving for it always!

My cousins all enjoyed it well (:

 

Yogurt ice creams for a break & chit chat when we grew tired of walking the 6 storey

Platinum Mall!

HAHA it's my favourite shopping mall there!

Always have the greatest buys there

 

 

2nd night dinner!

Thai food again cause the local thai food there is better than in sg

tho sg one is already so nice

All my fav dishes:

The tom yam soup was richer in coconut milk and taste really good!

Green curry had this olive smell

The cashrew nut with chicken is my FAV FAV!

Mummy says thai locals don't really eat pineapple rice

Singaporeans do haha

 

3rd day lunch:

Waraku Japanese food

I love every single dish on the table and it was not as ex as in SG too!

I just want to stay in Bangkok so I get to spend more with the same currency

I think Nex has a outlet of this restaurant too!

Will go back to this shop inSG to eat again!

BKK ladies trip! ( part 1 )

Hi i am back from my trip w my mummy & 2 of my very close female cousins!

 My sis couldnt join us bcos it's here A level this year:/
 

THE BERKELEY HOTEL ( PRATUNAM ) IN BANGKOK

I believe this is my fourth time there already?

we are planning for another upcoming ones with all the aunts and girls

LADIES RULE THE WORLD HAHA

 

Firstly, what u need in bangkok?

 

1. Get this small white paper from your hotel in case you get lost and u know the address

to ask locals for directions

 

2. Maps

one for chatuchak weekend market & the other the city map which will familiarise you with

the directions of the malls you are heading to

 

Next up! Our beautiful hotel!

It's a brand new launch hotel just in june this year that's why the prices are cheap

and there are many tourists staying there

It is built on top of palladium shopping mall and there are 2 towers to this building!

It's a five star hotel but now the rate is low

Wouldnt be so low when you return to bangkok a few years from now~

The door of the hotel is so huge & magnificient

it was the first thing that caught my eyes

 

 

There are chandeliers everywhere

I feel great everytime we return to the hotel from the shopping!

At terminal 21 the first night we reached bangkok!
Dine in this beautiful thai restaurant bcos we were all hungry from the flight and transfer to hotel
 

 

Everywhere inside here is by theme, so every level you have eg. London, russia etc

My cousin liked it so much she went every toilet to take photos because it is by theme too!

Really pretty toilets u can't find in singapore!

The above photo: we made 10 of these iphone liked keychains and waited for like half an hour

the service of this thai was damm good and friendly

he even took a photo w us to post on facebook LOL!

He said if everyday had customers like us very good hahaha

 

In bangkok tips:

-try to avoid taking taxi if u dont need to, train is so much safer and right to your stop

-if you need to take a taxi, choose a one tt goes by metre if not they quote you a higer price

and you will be conned most of the time

-always carry your bag in front to avoid any robbery esp in crowded places

-There are many trannys around and the locals are comfortable w them so pls dont stare at them

like you never seen one before

-when bargaining always bargain half of the actual price first then slowly raise ( gd tactic ) HAHA

-dont wear flashy clothings or jewelleries to avoid attention

-Avoid dark alleys and tranny areas

-Keep wallet and money deep inside your bag and separate money into few bags

due to incidents of sliting your bag robbery

keep unnecessary money in safe in hotel (best place)

 

Must try in bangkok:

Mango sticky rice

tom yam soup

chinatown's shark fin damm cheap

bird nest drink at chinatown too!

Japanese shabu shabu
